I could be a cheap date.....but only if it involves spaghetti and meatballs

I hate the term "economical" almost as much as I hate "cheap" or "budget friendly." Why do we have to put a label on it and what exactly sets the bar? These words do no apply when referring to SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS. What kind of spaghetti and meatballs are over $15?

Recently we have been experiencing what I refer to as an "overgourmation" of street food. Neiman Ranch hot dogs and DB foie gras burgers? I hope no one ever starts the trend of a kobe orwagyu meatball. You gourmands had better stay away from my meatballs! (that's what he said... ba dum bum).

I found a great spaghetti and meatball deal at Tre on the LES. Monday nights it's unlimited sangria and spaghetti and meatballs for $19! Okay, so maybe sangria and meatballs are from different countries don't really go together. But with a bottomless pitcher of sangria and a delicious plate of pasta piled high with meatballs, you will be likely to forget.
