Just because it's winter, isn't an excuse to have busted and chipped "Boomerang" feet. I recently went to Eve Spa for the manicure/pedicure special - not only was I pleased by the $26 price, but they also give you your own set of files and tools to bring on your next visit, which will take another $3.00 off the price. It's so much better than the creepy Korean place down the street, where their barely sanitized tools are stored in a contraption with florescent lights (does that really work?) and they gossip amongst themselves, reminiscent of that Seinfeld episode.
At Eve, I perched myself on the cushy raised banquettes, while Jenny worked diligently on my toes, which soaked in a tub with lights that changed colors like being at a club, from green to purple to blue. The eerie but relaxing new world spa music played in the background,providing a great setting for me to catch up on all my celebrity gossip magazines, while I sipped on my skinny cinnamon dolce latte.
The Special $26 Manicure/Pedicure is only available until February 20th, so hurry and make your appointment!
